The A1030185 BOFA filter is a replacement gas filter for the BOFA V4000 fume extractor. This filter is a filter pad that removes fine particles from the air, such as the harmful fumes, gases and vapours generated by brazing processes. Brazing is a joining process in which a brazing alloy is melted to join different metals. As a result, this process can produce fumes and gases that are harmful to health and must be removed before they are inhaled by workers.
The A1030185 filter is easy to install and replace. Simply slide it into the slot provided in the fume extractor. We also recommend replacing the filter every 3 to 6 months, depending on use. It is also important to make sure that you are using the correct filter for the right fume extractor, in order to guarantee optimum fume extractor performance and maximum filter life.
The A1030185 BOFA filter uses high-quality activated carbon. This element is designed to remove fine particles from the air. HEPA filters are known for their high filtration efficiency. Its construction, with a galvanised steel casing sealed with polyurethane sealant, ensures optimum filtration.
