Measurements of VOCs
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are chemical compounds that have a high vapour pressure at room temperature, which means that they evaporate easily into the air. These harmful substances are often associated with strong, unpleasant odours, although some may be odourless. VOCs can have adverse effects on human health and the environment, and can contribute to respiratory problems, headaches, nausea, and skin and eye irritation.
It is therefore advisable to identify and quantify these pollutants in order to put in place an air treatment solution suited to the working environment.
