The A1030118 BOFA filter is a replacement combined filter for the BOFA V600 and FumeCAB 600 fume extractors. This filter is a main filter that uses HEPA filter media to remove fine particles from the air, in order to eliminate the harmful fumes, gases and vapours generated during soldering processes. Soldering is a process in which a solder alloy is melted to join different metals. As a result, this process can produce fumes and gases that are harmful to health and must be removed before they are inhaled by workers.
The A1030118 filter is easy to install and replace. Simply slide it into the slot provided in the extractor. We also recommend replacing the filter every 3 to 6 months, depending on use. It is also important to make sure that you use the correct filter for the right extractor, in order to guarantee optimum extractor performance and the longest possible filter life.
The A1030118 BOFA filter uses glass fibre HEPA filter media and high-quality activated carbon. These elements are designed to remove fine particles from the air. HEPA filters are known for their high filtration efficiency, capable of trapping up to 99.997% of particles of 0.3 microns or larger. Its construction, with a galvanised steel casing sealed with a polyurethane compound, ensures optimum filtration.
